11-14 June 2009 Exhibition hall of Saint-Petersburg Artist Union Twice a year – in June and December – magic DOLL TIME comes to Saint-Petersburg. International exhibition of artistic dolls and Teddy bears opens for population of North Venice.
Works of artists from various cities of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Finland, Italy, Israel come to conquer this city with already well-established doll infrastructure. Three doll and toy museums, several doll galleries, more than ten specialized schools and courses, artistic unions are opened here. Petrsburg school is remarkable for its particular style, closely connected to history and culture of the city on the Neva. That is why appearance of great international exhibition in North capital has become a long expected event that is quite organic for the city.
